Twiggy is officially leaving America’s Next Top Model, with “scheduling conflicts” being given as the suspicious reason. And in her place is supermodel Paulina Porizkova. Her most recent claim to fame is in the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars, in which she had the distinction of being the first celebrity voted out of the reality show.

We would like to thank Twiggy for her great contributions to the show. Having an icon like Twiggy lend us her considerable expertise has elevated our show to a whole new level. We wish her well in her endeavors and hope to collaborate with her in future cycles of ‘ANTM’ as well as other projects.

Paulina will start judging on the tenth season of the show, alongside Tyra Banks, hottie Nigel Barker and Miss J. Alexander.

We have yet another America’s Next Top Model winner, this time Jaslene Gonzalez.

After failing to make the show last year, Jaslene Gonzalez, the 20-year-old stunning brunette from Chicago, beat out Russian immigrant Natasha Galkina to win the $100,000 US Cover Girl contract.

“Every little girl has a dream to be something and to be here, I overcame so much,” she said.

“I didn’t make it the first time but, now, look at me … That shows to all young women, if you have that drive, keep going. Second time around, and I’m America’s Next Top Model.”

Interestingly enough, none of the winners of this reality show have gone on to become supermodels.

The new season premieres on Wednesday, February 28th on the CW.

If you are going into withdrawl since the season finale of America’s Next Top Model, you can catch one of the judges at the end of the month when he judges Miss America. Nigel Barker, will be watching the stage instead of the catwalk as a judge for the Miss America pageant.

The rest of the judging lineup includes Delta Burke (ok, am I the only one who finds it amusing that she is judging beauty waifs?), Debbie Allen, singer Michael Feinstein, talk show host Chris Matthews, and former pageant winner Susan Powell.

And of course, don’t forget that Dancing with the Stars Mario Lopez is hosting the pageant this year.

The pageant will air Monday, January 29th on CMT. And does anyone know if they still do a talent portion to show off their, uh, talents?

CariDee has won the coveted title of America’s Next Top Model, in part because she is not just a pretty face, she actually has personality. Again and again, judges and others on the show commented that she wasn’t your typical run-of-the-mill ditzy model personality, which definitely contributed to her win over Melrose and Eugena in the seventh season finale.

So what does an America’s Next Top Model win? A $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, a contract with Elite Model Management, and a Seventeen Magazine cover and six-page fashion spread.
